The prison department started the testing of new jammers

The prison department started the checking of the secret gadgets, which should disable the cell phones of the prisoners. If the engineers succeed, the jails will be kept out of cell phone network, while other cell-phone users won’t be suffered.
One of the troubles in jails is an illegal usage of mobile phones. It is well-known that the convicts are prohibited in having a mobile. Nevertheless, the convicts make using them, although thousands of mobile phones are withdrawn from the convicts each year. There were even events when the convicts tried to call the Russian Government via cell phones. Just recently, one prisoner called the members of the Security Committee, and asked them to check his complaint more carefully.
The leader of prison authorities informed that this problem is not because of engineering difficulties, but because of legal system, so such cases occur from time to time. As the FSIN leader highlighted, an immediate stern note of warning appeared from the special departments, which are liable for the broadcasting when the so-called mobile jammers were used in some colonies. The governors were threatened with the administrative liability for interrupting the mobile phone frequencies.
There is a problem to consume such gadgets in the big cities, because the normal people suffer bad broadcasting. There were several attempts to establish the appropriate device in the jails several years ago, but it led to a public scandal, because the mobiles finished operating not only in the jails, but also in the neighbourhood.
Other gizmo is checked in Vladimir. According to the engineers, it doesn’t cut the telephone connection, but it finds the phones even if those mobiles are disabled. So the cell phones can no longer be kept away. If this device has success, all jails will be equipped with those gadgets.

Brewin immediately contacted with the guys from Google. They said that “The GPS-jammers’ references contradict to the company policy, which bans advertising of hacking and some proper technology“, and that they will eliminate the problem. Indeed, the searching on request “GPS jammer” have no effect in the evening. But on request “GPS jammer” with mark “Shopping” Google found three ad references on the GPS-jammers’ sites.
And there was a great number of sites about such blockers in other SE. In Feb, during the conference British expert David Last said how he reached 185 thousands backlinks on that request. The quantity of GPS-disablers’ sites increased by 50% just in a month.
